Blue line Branch (Line 4) with a length of 6.25 Km (3.88 mi) was first inaugurated on 27 January 2010 from Yamuna Bank metro station up to the Anand Vihar in East Delhi then it was further extended 2.26 km (1.40 mi) up to Vaishali, and opened to the public on 14 July 2011
